Review of The Octagon (1980) by Dave R — 19 Nov 2009
As a kid this was both the first chuck norris movie I ever saw and the first ninja movie. it's pretty badly acted and the shot but it was fun to see chuck as a younger man doing his thing 20-something years later.
The story is crazy - chuck is some kind of war veteran turned pro-fighter who hurt someone bad in a fight and he has some connection to a government anti-terrorist unit and he was adopted by some japanese ninja master who had a son already and there was tension between the two kids... you get the picture; it's all over the place.
