This is one of my favourite movies. I love the way "You Were Meant For Me" is threaded through the film and the scene in the Nina's kitchen is comic genius. This also features one of my favourite quotes, which is: "One shouldn't be too hard on oneself when the object of one's affection returns the favor with rather less enthusiasm than one might have hoped.
" Words to live by, indeed. And sure, the ending is a bit too easy, but until then it's pretty literate.
