I totally agree that The Nutcracker and the Four Realms lacks dazzling Christmas magic but I believe that if you set your mind to a positive level, you can really enjoy this movie and the characters in the detailed realms/settings.
Disney might have missed with this movie on a box office scale but it satisfied me with my movie going experience. Everyone that I know that has seen this movie has told me that they really enjoyed the acting, characters, and the charming story.
