Okay so after saying that I would never watch this, I still gave it a shot since the animation for Surly looks cute. And after watching this I must say it is worst than what I thought it would be. The humor was more on the "miss" than the "hit" even to children.
The characters were bland, flat and very one-dimensional. The story later on became "all over the place" messy and was too predictable. Overall it's worth a skip.
