Review of The Nun's Story (1959) by Kelsy C — 01 Feb 2012
It's long and creates silences that many may not be interested in following. This movie reveals a perspective of a woman choosing a life of becoming a nun, and once that door closes, it reveals what often isn't seen.
I've seen similar movies that reveal what a Buddhist monk or a priest would endure/experience, but not of a nun. It takes you step by step through the struggles one pursues, both triumphs and failures, and by the end it becomes more of a 'story'.
Absolutely spellbinding.
