Review of The Nun (2018) by Jennifer M — 13 Sep 2018
Well I don't know what to say. It was my first experience going to the cinema to see a horror so I was hesitant but an attractive friend pursuaded me to go. As my nerves began to build to this new experience I felt a quick check to this website would be ideal. I wasn't surprised by the rating but headed on my way regardless.
Without pointing fingers at scenes I quickly found the horror too cheaply done and only burdened me and my friend with laughs as the film through good looking but poorly brokered scares set me into awkward fits of hushed sniggers. The film filled the clichés and made no sense with a plot line that was leading to nothing but the end of the film. The actors played whimsical roles but had talent behind their acting.
For my first experience watching a horror in a cinema it was thankfully not scary except for a few unerving jump scares so I was able to keep my cool Infront of my friend.
As a film it was terrible, but it was also a highly entertaining (comedic) watch. So if that sounds alright then go ahead.
