Review of The Nun (2018) by Pedro C — 23 Sep 2018
I was expecting a lot more from the Nun, after all the glossy and spooky thrillers and the histeria around this ghostly figure. Despite interesting actings by Farmiga and Bichir, and also by Boonie Aarons as The Nun, the movie is really frustrating even for The Conjuring fans.
There's a silly plot, a lot of inconsistencies, the movie fails miserably to create an horror aura, and the goofy moments provided by Bloquet's character (despite his studness and charm) only diminish the movie.
I seriously recommended my friends NOT TO see The Nun in theathers, since I got horrorly frustrated.
