Review of The Nun (2018) by Honest-Yan — 05 Oct 2018
This is a movie about a spooky ghost nun. It contains the spooky nun from the trailer, so I wasn't greatly disappointed but there wasn't much else to this movie. It wasn't very scary but had a few moments.
By the end of the movie I could see they were not going to do anything new, nothing shocking and the mysterious plot points at the start were just padding. There was minor suggestion of tapping into the trappings of the nunsploitation genre, where a horny frenchman, flirts with a nun, but no, the nuns were all very well behaved and this too was just padding with no payoff, nothing shocking or sexy or particularly horrifying.
