If you watched the other films in the Conjuring universe then this film is definitely worth watching. But, as a whole, the movie wasn't all it cracked up to be. Scary and entertaining? Yes. But mainly, the jump scares are what contributed to the films scare factor.

This wasn't a story and shook you to the core, it was a story you could predict because of how often they repeated the same actions. You see the Nun, she screams, you scream, repeat. Aside from the jump scares there were also factors of the movie that were not fully explained or half-attempted.

Although not much, but some parts of the film leave you scratching your head and wondering why they didn't mention anything after. Overall, as a horror fan you must see this movie. Although definitely not the best out of the Conjuring movies, it really wasn't awful and it was a fun film to watch.
