Let be honest this movie is kind of mediocre,ok yes it is "scary and creepy" and looks solid,but the fact that having illogical plot points or character's dumbass choice really tanks this movie and the ending is so abrupt and conventional,the twist is so glaring also has no surprise at all.

The funniest part is they put that right in the beginning of the film.Jump scares,at some,they works,but throughout the film they are too many and become really conventional and repetitive,which leads to my biggest issue with The Nun,they oddly goes to a point where the film has nothing to tell,it is just jump scare after jump scare after jump scare after jump scare,The Conjuring 1 and 2 or even Annabelle Creation did so effectively bc they kept those very minimal,but when they hit,they were frightening and every jump scares in those movies are creative and suspenseful, in here it is just a string of jump scare scenes that is thrown at you to make you scare but doesn't impact you that much,THIS IS LAZY CMON.
