Though the movie has cliches and faults.. you cant deny the fact that it was a solid old school type of horror ride. The only thing is that Director Corin Hardy could have focused more on Valak & Sister Irene and we would have got a picture perfect prequel to the Conjuring Universe.
Nonetheless my rating is 4/5 - Solid Old-School Horror Ride with a few cliches.
