Review of The Nun (2018) by Melissa A — 06 Sep 2018

I have to give 'The Nun' a A-. I was really looking forward to this movie and hoping it didn't let me down and it didn't! First of all, the scenery was beautiful. The sets, the makeup, everything was just so well done.

Everything looked very real and not fake. I'm sure most of it was CGI but it was very effective. It's VERY hard to get me to jump during horror movies and this made me jump twice. The plot is alright and the actors are fairly good.

I didn't think 'Frenchie' was needed at all and I thought his lines were comedic and just unnecessary but he's really my only complaint. I've even all the Conjuring and Annabelle movies and I never was very impressed but this, to me, was the best out of all of them by far.

I definitely recommend it and I would see it again.
