Such a shame for what is actually a superb franchise of movies. The nun is absolutely pathetic in comparison, and disappoints beyond belief. The characters are flimsy at best, the actors accents are from literally anywhere other than where they're supposed to be from, and the storyline and plot don't make any sense at all.

There is little suspense in this movie, and strange, cheap, predictable scares that don't really lead anywhere. There are strange backstories that don't build up or feel relevant, and the elements of humour they try to bring are misplaced and prove more awkward than helpful.

Worst movie, and shame on the director for ruining a fantastic franchise with this terrible addition.
