Review of The Numbers Station (2013) by Justin W — 16 Jul 2013
Fails to live up to its premise, and drags throughout its entire run time. You wonder, why should I care for this or that character, and why am I seeing/hearing flashbacks that we didn't care/see before.
Even the bad guys are worthless. Cusack struggles with the crappy script and his heart was definitely not in this. The female lead was not all that great, and the other actors are worthless, forgettable.
Cusack forgets the beginning of the movie halfway and it goes another direction. The concept is cool, but I think it needed to be done differently to work. Definitely rotten.
