Review of The Number 23 (2007) by Caesar B — 05 Dec 2012
Some one called this Memento for dummies, well I must be a dummy then, because I thought it was great! It might have to do with my own number fetish, but I don't think that's it. What I really liked was the noir style and the way it was shot, Jim Carrey's screen presence, family loyalty and yes, the story is pretty exciting too. I don't understand why this movie gets rated so much lower than something like Shutter Island when the make and feel is so similair.
Side note: I had a couple of beers when watching this, maybe that helps? Try it out lol.
