A dominating performance from Jim Carrey, who is a hugely underrated serious actor, is just about all this movie has got going for it.
You can make anything into the number 23 if you simply hatchet around with it long enough. Im 34, 34 - 11 = 23...so what? Yes, so you've discovered that the answer to life, the universe and everything is the number 23. Big deal! What are you now going to do with that information? Bugger all!
