Review of The November Man (2014) by Steven B — 30 Aug 2014
Not the best spy thriller I've ever seen, but not the worst either. The place was packed with Old Geezers Who Go To The Matinee Alone; some experts, they were going for the free refills on the 36oz drinks and extra large popcorn before the trailers were done.
So not so much, the 'couch people' who think that they can talk just like at home. But all in all we had a good time. Pierce Brosnan remains a good looking dude and can still pull off action hero rolls.
The rest of the cast seems fine but I especially noticed Amilia Terzimehic as the female russian assassin; she looks born to play the part. The movie moves fast enough that you don't really notice the holes in the plot, so it's alright as far as that goes.
Not a bad way to spend a couple of hours.
