Of Pierce Brosnan's four Bond films, one is great, and the other three are generally considered mediocre. But love or hate those movies, one thing that people always agreed on is that Pierce Brosnan was great as 007, so naturally it was quite exciting for a lot of people to have Brosnan return to the spy-thriller genre.
But while The November Man isn't necessarily bad, it unfortunately falls prey to genre clichés and is a little boring at times. But with that in mind, the movie is still worth a watch for Pierce Brosnan's performance, as he still plays a great spy.
