Review of The November Man (2014) by Dann M — 08 Jan 2015

A little convoluted, The November Man is an adrenaline-packed espionage thriller. The story follows ex-CIA agent Peter Devereaux who's called upon to help extract a covert operative that has obtained critical information about a prominent Russian general, but when the mission is blown Devereaux goes rogue and has to find the operative's contact.

Pierce Brosnan and Olga Kurylenko both give strong performances and have good onscreen chemistry. The script however, is a bit of a mess; with twists upon twists. Yet, the action scenes keep the film moving and add intensity and suspense.

While The November Man follows the typical formula for a spy thriller, it's still fun and exciting.
