Review of The Notorious Bettie Page (2006) by Karen L — 18 Aug 2009

Bettie Page was very notorious but this film goes way too quickly and only shows glimpses of her life. As much as I like the director and her work, I feel that the film missed much of the needed detail of her life and that if there was more information, the film would have succeeded better at showing the life of this famous pin up girl.

Gretchen Mol did a good job at playing an innocent and curious girl who was truly ahead of her time. But the rest of the film was ok. Overall, it could have been alot better then it actually was.
