Review of The Northman (2022) by Rigafan — 08 May 2022
The 1 rating is only because the acting is fine, and the visual is fine, everything else can be overlooked and isn't worth your time or money. I came into this movie expecting something like, Kingdom of Heaven, but Norse/Viking version - wrong.
It is a generic, rushed and seems to only have been made for the main actor to show off his physic at every available point. The TV show on Amazon is much more 'real' and interesting with real storytelling.
Don't fall for the reviews and praise.
