Wrenching (appropriately so) with so many amazing performances that I do not know where to begin, but I will say that Taylor Kitsch and Matt Bomer were both revelatory. They have never been given the chance to show their acting chops (they have been picked for parts mainly because of their looks) but both of them are amazing.

Not always a fan of Ryan Murphy projects, but his "in your face" direction is completely appropriate given the subject matter. This is a movie that everyone should see to be educated, or to be reminded of a plague that virtually wiped out a whole generation of the gay population in the 80s/90s.
