Review of The Normal Heart (2014) by Tam V — 26 Jul 2014
There are more important films about this subject and, as much as I like Mark Ruffalo, his over-acting is palpable and ruined the film for me. Moreover, there is no little to no chemistry between Ruffalo and Bomer.
Bomer does a nice job and the movie means well, but it just isn't up to par. I agree with Janice M's review. Only mildly interesting film and a missed opportunity to make a great film about an important subject.
