Ryan Murphy's adaptation of The Normal Heart is nothing short of brilliant. The script is fleshed out where it needs to be. We are shown heart wrenching moments that we only hear about in the play (two words: garbage bag).
The direction, editing, and cinematography are all amazingly done. And, the acting from the ENTIRE cast is chilling. Ruffalo and Bomer give some of the best acting of their careers here as these characters.
I don't think I've ever seen such a lovely depiction of realistic love for homosexuals on film until now. This is a must see for all.
