Review of The Normal Heart (2014) by Fr. Chris Carpenter for Movie Dearest — 23 May 2014
(Larry) Kramer's screenplay powerfully retains Ned's anger but the scenes where Ned exhibits it tend to get repetitive. The film boasts great performances though and lovely directorial touches that make it well worth the nearly 30 year wait.
