Saw this on 15/3/15.
Except for Johnny Depp, there's nothing good in here. The Ninth Gate is a massive misfire from Roman Polanski and it reminds me of some stupid Stanley Kubrick like execution. It is confusing and convoluted, that too only because it's aimless and at times super silly. It's got some of the atmosphere, but it's silliness and poor CGI makes it hard to recommend.
