It wasn't so bad but the ending was kind of a let down.... although I guess they want to leave it to your imagination as to why he wants to go through the ninth gate, unless it was revealed earlier in the movie and I just missed that little detail.
... and was that woman supposed to be something significant? It had good suspenseful moments and some that weren't. All-in-all, it's a good movie to have on in the background!
