Review of The Ninth Configuration (1980) by Aaron B — 21 Aug 2007
Another great William Peter Blatty movie that is horribly overlooked. Again he adapts one of his own novels (Twinkle, Twinkle, Killer Kane) and does a fantastic job. The movie revolves around an asylum for AWOL soldiers.
It goes from darkly comedic to deeply tragic. It shines because of a strong script and excellent performances.
