Review of The Nines (2007) by James M — 30 May 2011
The first third of this is really good, but then it kind of falls apart and aims for somewhere WAY out in left field. Too bad, because the first part of the story shows a great amount of potential. Then it just turns pretentious, at times preachy, and a little too "insightful" for its own good.
It's not a terrible film, but it doesn't measure up to what I expected until about half an hour into it.
