Review of The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993) by Aquiles V — 25 Oct 2012
I just re watched this movie. It was very well done. The artwork, characters, and animation was great and the songs are so catchy. I can see why this is considered a classic today, because it has such a perfect blend of imagination and dark creepiness, and at the same time it appeals to all ages. It wasnt too childish like Paranorman but it wasnt too dark like Coraline, it was just right. I loved Jack Skeleington because of his awesome design and plus he had the best songs of the movie. My only complaint was that the pacing was a bit slow but the creepy fun energy and catchy songs kept me very entertained. Overall, terrific movie.
8.5/10.
