Review of The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993) by Gustavmarkovic31 . — 11 Sep 2012
Very different from what I expected, I never thought this would be an opera-esque all-singing film, yet I liked it. Everything Tim Burton touches is awesome, as his dark, moody and gothic style is, in my mind, the most beautiful artistic directorial style around these days, that I can think of right now.
A strange storyline coupled with even stranger characters and then down-right weird plot events and developments makes for a quirky yet appetising meal, and I walked away from it (a little disturbed, but) inspired.
