I also feel like most people arenâ(TM)t aware that Tim Burton didnâ(TM)t actually direct this one. But it really doesnâ(TM)t matter, his influence and creative fingers so cover this movie, it practically cemented his name in gothic visual style.
In my opinion, the real hero of this movie is Danny Elfman. His songs are what people still take away from this movie, not only conducting all the move but also providing the singing voice of Jack the pumpkin king.
