Review of The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993) by Mariam M — 29 Oct 2012

Watched the 3D version. I'd seen the original 2D version when released in 1993 on the big screen and although Tim Burton is hailed as a visionary for this film I still seem to wonder what all the fuss is about.

It's not really a Christmas film, although the UK seem to push it as such, the clue as always is in the title. Even at just over the hour it drags on. Although remastered for 3D the only real stand out moment is the initial scene to Christmas Town for Jack, which does feel like a 'trip' ;).
