Review of The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993) by Jacob M — 31 Oct 2012

Beautiful is the least I can say. It was so surreal, I absolutely loved this movie. It's one of my favorite animated films and is maybe the best film to watch over the holidays. The stop motion animation was so wonderful and it was so well made especially for it being made in 1993.

It is so slick and stylized, I loved it. The characters also felt so real and the voice acting was phenomenal. The characters were developed thoroughly and to save you the suspense, this movie is so near perfect that it's scary, and it is.

A lot of animated films like this try to have a ton of stupid humor and stuff in it so that it isn't too frightening, but what I love about this one is that it's not afraid to scare kids, it goes and does it but still without going over the line.

Awesome, a movie for all ages.
