Review of The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993) by Jess Y — 13 Aug 2013

I've never understood why this movie has gotten such high status when I was and child and even now. This movie to me is nothing more than a lifeless, poorly paced film with no character development.

Don't get me wrong the Stop motion animation is Superb and the character design and idea for the film are both very unique and different from usual animated affairs. But everything it does right it does wrong even more so.

If your the type of person that is into musicals that last way to long and don't care much for plot and character development and chemistry than this is the film for you, but If tired of overrated animated films that look better on paper as an rather than a film I'd look elsewhere.
