This is my favorite film of all time. And it's a shockingly good Christmas movie. Everything about the film's aesthetic and charm is absolutely wonderful, the music is absolutely moving, and all the good outweighs the simplicity.
Sure Jack's relationships with Sally and Oogie don't make a ton of sense, but that's heavily overshadowed by the fact that this movie simply: IS.
