Nightmare Before Christmas was a surprising good movie. I'm generally not a fan of the stop motion animation style, but this movie is very cleverly executed. The characters are very memorable, and this Halloween realm is truly imaginative.
The story is much more original than I expected, showcasing each major holiday to have it's own little world in which they do not know about the other holidays. But when Jack Skellington stumbles across Christmas, Halloween Town might never be the same.
This movie is very unique and interesting. It never bores, and consistently keeps you curious to find out where the story is going. It does get very silly and predictable at times though. The Nightmare Before Christmas gets 3/5 stars (B-).
