Absolutely one of the most imaginative, colorful, musical creations in film ever made. Not in just animation but in cinema itself. Tim Burton has an imagination, that is emotional, visually stunning, awe-inspiring style.
Despite this not exactly being a Tim Burton DIRECTED movie, this is Tim Burton's original story, Tim Burton's characters, this movie is the definition of the term Burton-esque. It's as Tim Burton as Tim Burton could get.
(except there is no Johnny Depp or Helena Bottom Carter in this movie though).
