Review of The Night of the Sunflowers (2006) by Sanity Assassin ! — 29 Sep 2007
Rape, murder and crooked cops. set in spain and subtitled this offers a look into a small village, a hole and a case of mistaken identity. I didn't really like what this film had to say but that's just the way it was made.
there didn't seem too much point to it is all. I thought this was all going to build up towards some "wow" ending but it disappointed me greatly. is it wrong that I laughed at the final scene when the rapist is sat in his armchair with his mother or someone telling him dinner is on the table? I have a very dark sense of humour I know.
