Harry Powell, the presence of Silent Screen Legend Lillian Gish, The direction of One time Director Charles Laughton and of course the films subjective impact upon the viewer, There are many reasons why this truly brilliant Great Cult film has retained a legacy as one of the Greatest films ever made.
Everything about this film has the hallmarks of a Great film written all over it. So this film has easily become one of my all time favourite films, my rating a just deserved 100%.
