Review of The Night of the Hunter (1955) by Cameron J — 01 Jun 2012
Okay so not all the actors are that good, some of the directional choices seem a bit odd, and it feels very....well...1950s. But Night of the Hunter is a suspenseful, if not chilling movie about good, evil and greed.
Robert Mitchum owns every scene he is in as the intimidating and threatening Rev. Harry Powell, one of the best cinematic villains ever.
