The Night of the Hunter is a magnificent film. It is about a religious fanatic who marries a gullible widow whose young children are reluctant to tell him where their real daddy hid $10,000 he'd stolen in a robbery.
Robert Mitchum and Shelley Winters give terrific performances. The screenplay is well written. Charles Laughton did a great job directing this movie. I enjoyed watching this movie because of the drama and thrills.
The Night of the Hunter is a must see.
