Review of The Night of the Hunter (1955) by Brent C — 05 Jun 2008

For its time, it was obviously different and edgy. However, it does have quite a few problems (plot wise and other). In some ways, I hate to say it, but this movie is begging to be remade. Mitchum is of course awesome and quite frightening.

If I was able to suspend my disbelief a lot more, I probably would have been more impressed (and would have bought some of the silly decisions the characters make).
