Review of The Night of the Hunter (1955) by Kevin H — 02 Apr 2009
Whew. An unbelievably draining experience from a film as Robert Mitchum scares the absolute crap out of us in his most memorable role. This is an extremely unsettling and disturbing movie where the kids have to become the heroes.
An instant American classic, Laughton's only film and a wonder to behold.
