Review of The Night of the Hunter (1955) by Nick G — 30 Apr 2009
I'd probably describe this film as being so bad, it's good. Much of the acting, save Mitchum, is terrible, the script is bad and many parts of the storyline seem out of place. The cinematography though is fantastic, and Mitchum plays one of the scariest, most memorable villains ever.
