Review of The Night of the Hunter (1955) by Chris R — 18 Dec 2010
I am a little disappointed that Charles Laughton didn't direct any other films. That being said, people sometimes direct seven movies before they can achieve the caliber of film that this one reaches.
The film's dark and enthralling story is only intensified by Robert Mitchum's Preacher character who arguably is one of the best on-screen villain in American film history.
