Review of The Night of the Hunter (1955) by Noah B — 26 Dec 2010
Robert Micthum is absolutley brilliant and scary in this. The story was great and Billy Chapin was perfectly cast. However, the last thirty minutes, the film slows and down and loses some of the edge and suspence that made the first hour so memorable.
Aside from that, this was a great, great film.
