Review of The Night of the Generals (1967) by Matthew W — 06 Aug 2007
I was a little bit apprehensive at first but this movie really developed into quite a suspensful murder/mystery. Peter O'Toole is fantastic and quite disturbing as the chilling General Tanz, while Omar Sharif performs more than admirably in support.
Plummer's cameo as Rommel is a particular highlight of this movie. The classic British dialogue and subtle digs at the Germans makes this a very clever film. It's well worth a watch.
