I had already read the books and seen tv specials about the real story behind this movie. I found them to be much more interesting than the plot they fabricated from it. Seriously... look it up. The boy in the picture was actually found after his mother saw the pictures on the television.
They had no idea who the woman was or why she had pictures of him.
