What a hot mess it is to mashup Dicken's A Christmas Carol and Pineapple Express in the latest Rogen bromance vehicle. Does the movie sound good, literally? Not particularly. Does it look good? Not particularly.
For the story, if I only watch half, do I think I'd miss something from the other half? Not particularly. Do I like Rogen, Mackie, and Gordon-Levitt individually and collectively.? Yes. Look for it as a bargain stream, or in a bargain bin, amongst cult classics.
Special commendations to Michael Shannon as Mr Green, and Tracy Morgan as a father Christmas-y narrator.
